I watched the Vaknin documentary “Am I a Psychopath?” where he has portions on secret camera where he actively abuses and attacks the producer, then switches back to polite mode on official camera…
I didn’t find his attacks as that vicious, as the target was rather easy and naive to manipulate. I think I recall he was going into the documentary with a sort of gotcha type attitude… I can see Vaknin being aggressive and but I haven’t seen his full on sadistic side just yet, and his interactions with Grannon seem so easy to him, as it’s like RG automatically regresses, or SV knows his buttons….
And I’d argue it might just be repetition compulsion…. SV filling in for father figure, and SV also plays to RG’s childhood sexual abuse history too…

- SV acts predictable. He’s always openly demeaning, arrogant…
- SV uses humour & high rank jargon which impresses RG. It’s an open gateway to RG’s system
- SV shows encyclopedia like intelligence. Hording information & combining several points of view which indicates an ability for helicopter view. RG is not so strong in that area but it’s an ability he admires.
- SV seems to act patient (and picky) aiming for the highest arousal.
I suspect that RG has a blind spot for slyness/finesse – which puts him 0-1 down – but he sure will experience/feel/sense the aftermath of being (ab)used for sadistic supply.
- SV may be representing the missing father figure with his cold connection.
My condensing of your 5 points…..
SV is predictable and open with his demands, so that’s much better than confusing followers who keep demanding more and are likely more on the BPD chaotic side of disorders..
SV’s humor isn’t a big deal, as RG still has terror of negative emotion, so humor helps him manage and get away from heavy affect..
RG admiring helicopter view? I haven’t seen that same admiration with bits of my work I’ve shown him… I think it might be that but also SV seems more academically solid vs RG? Though RG is better at personalizing and channeling the emotional merged wisdom to the masses than SV. SV is better at cold descriptions and offering first person view, though some new tiktokers like Lee Hammock and others are offering a more emotional first hand view which I find might be more actionable vs SV’s stuff which might be dumping his dissociation, or it’s about him getting supply as look how smart I am vs how stupid you are…
SV’s patience vs. RG’s dopamine addicted nervous system… or he calls himself as adrenaphilia…. RG might not be as sell aware to manage that need for high drama or tension… I can see SV taking advantage of that…
5th point… I think this is a lot of the issue… RG’s unresolved father issues, along with 2 sex abusers were older boys or one was an adult.. I think..
RG revealed in the Inner Circle interview that he can not let anyone do the policing of the platform as it is toxifying piece by piece without someone being aware of the toxic long(er) term effects of it.
So I guess he’s very aware of toxicity his followers creating.
That was kinda fishy back then, but also his recent rant on his followers vs. Sam Vaknin respecting his boundaries…. I’d agree that it’d partially the followers fault.. but it’s also RG’s limited social skills, he’s not good at selectively punishing people.. he’s not good at redirecting or guiding people to new direction…
in the forums, there was no one actively moderating… same with the summoning the Self forums…. somehow it seems that RG assumed that just putting the forum out there, that people would just automatically play nice and interact…
plus the kajibi setup isn’t really that good of forum setup, it’s more social media endless wall style…
Granted his youtube followers are too many to keep up with… and YT comments format invites trolling, and with the amount of comments his videos gets, it’d take a lot of time to sort through it… but also it’s not like he’s trying to engage or encourage deeper conversations there….
In some ways… he’s still stuck in 80s or 90’s internet tech style and interaction….
Pierre has much more interaction with is followers, and better social awareness and skills..
