Deef Got a new semi-critical comment.. not very creative though.. curious to see if he’ll back up the claim with any sort of evidence? Or it’s just a simple attack the messenger type knee-jerk reaction?
After a lot of work, got finally got some sort of substantial response from this one liner:

I could post screen caps of in between back and forths but that’s lengthy and lots of indirect and smoke and mirrors type stuff…
finally something personal… or not?? it might be something that appears personal, but has little substance??
for full comment thread visit video link here.
here’s screen cap of his comment

here’s my quote and analysis:
When it comes to assessing a person’s character, (Theme
I largely operate intuitively.
Of course critical thinking is involved and red flags are noted,
but the sheer amount of data about a person being fed into my unconscious mind over time is incalculable.
Any analysis formulated by conscious thought (although still useful) would be dwarfed in comparison.
What the hell does this opener mean? He gets flooded by raw data, therefore that equates to his intuition being accurate? Just because he has bias to operate via intuition (claim) that doesn’t equate to accuracy.
This any analysis part, by conscious thought?? wtf… does that mean analysis by unconscious thought is better? wouldn’t that also equate to my shadow unconscious emotional flashback memories and reactions filter my perceptions and intuition?? and I’ll put that above critical thinking, logic and rationale?
With that said, my intuitive assessment of JP’s character is primarily the result of:
I like this transition, clever, but I don’t know what he said?? was it touting his intuition?? but without evidence of it’s accuracy, more so of slandering critical thinking because of information overload?
- a personal relationship I had with him approximately six years ago
(which included Skype calls and email exchanges over the course of several months);
- a personal growth course of his that I completed
(which included 15+ hours of content)
- consuming most of his YT videos at the time, both serious and satire
(I stopped watching his videos a few years ago
but have kept an eye on him now and then and am aware of what he’s been up to).
this numbered.. or he lettered them… lists are common for youtube content creators and also commenters.. it’s clever way of presenting information, easy to digest, and also gives feeling of more weight??? why is this??
also things presented in 3’s are easier to remember..
So this person had some coaching with JP 6 years ago, paid for a course (I’m skeptical of his definition of completed), and watched his videos..
Based on my interactions with him and carefully studying his content,
at a certain point
I began to develop a strong intuition that
JP is what’s known as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” kind of narcissist.
This is uhm.. what? at some vague time, he got some hunch (intuition) feeling… or insight or something.. that there’s more to JP than his coaching hat, or role he plays in his course, or comedic persona on his videos??
There’s something behind his false public persona??? OMG!! how dare him!
yay?? maybe some clarity?
I suspect that deep down he is similar to a grandiose narcissist,
but his narcissism is expressed in a way that isn’t so overt
and is designed to deceive people into
not recognizing his true nature/motives/agenda
(which, if I’m correct, he is incredibly adept at doing).
Feels kinda circular argument, though not sure if that’s the right term… he’s just defining covert narcissism, and I almost fell into a trap of arguing semantics here… this isn’t covert narcissism, it’s more a paranoid projection of demonizing someone else simply due to misreading them originally… or projecting savior qualities onto an expert and then being disappointed when the expert is a human with self-ish motives and expertise might not match the indivduals expectations or needs.
Of course I acknowledge I could be wrong.
It’s impossible for me to know this about JP for certain.
But that’s my informed, intuitive analysis
and I do believe it’s accurate.
What a downer of a closing. Leave it so damn open, he barely took a stand or made any sorta claim…how fucking boring and dull. Then fucking semantical redefinitions… informed??? right after saying it’s impossible to know…. where’s the analysis??? where’s patterns of behavior? where’s actual story of deception??
Juliana is faster than me…. and sniffed out the insincerity and escalated!! and got some more details:

Now his personality is starting to show…. feeling like a paranoid fragile narcissist, that’s projecting his blindspots and own covert narcissism onto others.
@Juliana Payson One of my core values is a cluster of truth/honesty/authenticity/integrity.
Lol.. love this cluster claim?? he picks and chooses ideals of his, and then just claims he’s arrived… this is almost textbook fragile narcissist…. they’ll come to support groups, introduce themself and claim being healed… start out with victory or saying they’ve arrived…. lol
When I saw the above video featuring JP on my homefeed,
I wrote the comment to simply share my honest thoughts
and sow a seed of truth (at least what I believe to be a truth).
a one liner equates to ‘honest thoughts’?? I’ll be nice and give him honest, but ‘thoughts’??
what kind of dictionary is he using?
I also suspected doing so could lead to some stimulating dialogue
(knowing VG is interested in the phenomenon of narcissism).
Thankfully, this turned out to be the case.
I’ve enjoyed this thread as it has been unfolding
(critical thinking and connecting with others are two more of my core values ;-)
this is re-writing on the fly…so smart he fore-saw what could be coming, and was happy he sowed the seed and got others to jump and entertain him… and somehow he’s claiming credit for critical thinking when I don’t see any evidence in the thread of him doing any? In fact his last response sorta poo-poo’d on it, or glossed over details of it, a claim with no actual modeling of behavior.
I’m a massive fan of Richard Grannon by the way.
That’s how I became aware of VG’s channel.
I enjoy the short clips he shares from Richard’s talks.
Currying favor.. trying to disarm…
I’m sure he didn’t like me specifically calling him out a few times… and trying to save his public image, not knowing that no one cares on youtube comments, plus who reads past the first responses, the few who dig deeper only give it a cursory glance..
